Chey Bailey
I started Disco Freestyle at 7 years of age and retired at 17. With Over 10 years of freestyle experience alongside all other styles, I look forward to passing my knowledge down to children willing to learn.
I have reached many big championship finals throughout my Freestyle career. I have placed at competitions such as Eurodance, Icon, IFDC, London Championships, Birmingham Tower, Elite, Street Superstar DKKQ and I received an ADFP Nomination in 2015.
At 13 years old I auditioned for The BRIT School of Performing Arts and Technology. I studied a BTEC Level 2 Diploma for Year 10 & 11 alongside my normal GCSE exams and received a Double Distinction* Distinction*. I then continued my studies at The BRIT School for college, where I took my BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma and received a Triple Distinction* Distinction* Distinction*.
I auditioned for 2 of the most Prestigious Dance Universities in the UK, I was offered a place at The London Studio Centre and BIRD College. I accepted my offer to BIRD College. I studied a variety of different dance styles, all alongside my freestyle career. Due to personal reasons, I could no longer continue at BIRD College.
I then began teaching at local schools and found my love for one day creating my own dance school. I have worked professionally in the Dance Industry, a few of my credits include performing at The BRIT Awards 2017 behind Little Mix, The X Factor Live Finals 2017 RAKSU and many Music Videos.
